Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver

Pingree Express is a growing, family-owned transportation company seeking reliable and safety-conscious Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our team based in Pingree, Idaho. As an OTR driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight across the United States. Our routes are primarily long-haul, and drivers are typically out on the road for extended periods, with flexible home time arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Transport freight over long distances across state lines
• Ensure timely deliveries while following all DOT and company regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle
• Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic records using ELD systems
• Safely load and unload cargo as needed
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of both the truck and driver

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and PSP report
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Working knowledge of ELDs and hours-of-service regulations
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service

Preferred Certifications:

• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (not required but a plus)
• TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
